3. How We Use Information

4. Firebase Services

5. Profile Images
If you choose to upload a profile image, the image is stored using Firebase Storage and is associated with your HoopStats account. Uploading a profile image is optional.
6. Chat and Community Features
Group chat messages are stored to provide real-time communication between group members. Messages may contain sender information, message content, mentions, and reply references.
When an account is deleted, personal information associated with chat messages is removed or anonymized where necessary to preserve the structure of existing conversations.
7. Push Notifications
HoopStats may send push notifications relating to group chat messages, sessions, reminders, and other app events.
Notification preferences can be managed inside the app and through your device settings.
8. Data Sharing
HoopStats does not sell personal data.
Data may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the app, such as Google Firebase.
9. Data Retention
User data is retained while the HoopStats account remains active or for as long as necessary to provide the app's functionality.
Users can permanently delete their account and associated personal data through the account management section of the app.
10. Account Deletion
Users can request permanent account deletion directly inside HoopStats. Account deletion removes the user's authentication account and associated personal data stored by HoopStats, subject to technical and legal requirements.
A user who owns a group must transfer group ownership before deleting their account.
11. Children's Privacy
HoopStats is not specifically directed at children. Users should only use the app where permitted under applicable laws and platform requirements.
12. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect user data, including authentication, access controls, encrypted network communication, and secure cloud infrastructure.
